Norwood Fire Protection District
The Norwood Fire Protection District is here to provide the highest quality service and care for the preservation of life and property, as well as, safety and public education to the residents, workers and visitors to the Norwood area.
The District services over 500 square miles to 3,000 residents. Two ambulances provide ALS (Advanced Life Support) care to the people in our District. Two fire engines, two brush trucks and one water tender respond to structural and wildland fires. The District also provides fire and life safety education to its residents, including CPR/AED/First Aid classes.
The Norwood Fire Protection District’s EMS Program offers EMR classes, EMT classes, a Paramedic transition course and numerous EMS continuing education certification courses.
