After a career as a journalist, John Metzger founded one of the nation's first technology public relations firms in 1991. After relocating from Boulder to Norwood in 2018, Metzger continues his career as an independent consultant. He has worked with thousands of companies, and over 30 years has helped promote technology economic development working with the Governor's Office, Front Range Chambers of Commerce and venture capital groups. Today he sees similar economic opportunities in western Colorado with new business and lifestyle trends coming together in what he calls a Rural Renaissance.
