It’s back, and in a big way! After a year hiatus during the pandemic, the San Miguel Basin Rodeo returns to the San Miguel County Fairgrounds in Norwood, July 30 and 31st . The action-packed rodeo has a long-standing tradition of being one of Norwood and the region’s most popular events of the summer with events that are sure to drive excitement and get your heart pumping!
Wondering how to get to the rodeo? Planning on throwing back a few cold ones? Don’t drink and drive, catch a ride! Returning this year, Telluride Express will be providing shuttles from Telluride to Norwood and back, departing from the San Miguel County Courthouse at 5 p.m. and each evening. Cost is just $5 to the bus driver, seating is limited. If you plan on staying longer, another option is to hop on the SMART regional transit busses which run daily, morning and evening between Norwood and Telluride. For the SMART bus schedule, please visit SMART Telluride.
