Norwood Colorado - Events and Videos

The next Chamber of Commerce meeting will be Thursday, May 27th.
at 8 a.m. at Norwood Christian Church
(corner of Lincoln & Summit by the fair grounds)

Our guest speakers will be with JVA Consulting from Denver. They are working with the Telluride Foundation in terms of grant approval (Rural Communities) for money that the Foundation is passing out. The first round of grants has been approved – however, there is a second round. Anyone in the community that is interested in knowing more about what qualifications are needed to submit a application for a grant, is welcome to attend this important presentation. There will be time allocated for questions and answers.

There will also be updates on the Youth Baseball Tournament, the upcoming BBQ Cook off (June 12th), Race Weekend, and other items of interest to the community.

This meeting featured Becky Mashburn from San Miguel Power explaining their incentive programs to help businesses “SAVING MONEY” on their electric bills. Click here to read the flyer explaining the rebate programs San Miguel Power has available. Representatives from San Miguel Power will be outlining the programs and taking questions from the audience. Hopefully many of our local business owners will be able to take advantage of one or more of the programs.
