As
a former San Miguel County Commissioner, I
discovered making art at the Ah Haa School for the
Arts in Telluride, Colorado. I’ve been studying
photography and silk painting for several years now,
both at Ah Haa and The Anderson Ranch in Snowmass,
Colorado. I’ve participated in and sold in juried
shows and exhibits around the Western Slope of
Colorado.
I work mainly in digital
photography, do my own printing, including greeting
cards.
I use batik and shibori techniques
in my silk painting (scarves, clothes, pillows and
greeting cards). I am currently exploring
combining the two .
