Norwood’s main street is looking a bit brighter these days! Fresh hanging baskets and banners are hanging from light poles, and handcrafted flower planters are below on the street corners filled with fragrant flowers. And that’s not all! One business is awarded a face lift and “the parking lot,” next to Local Liquor has been retrofitted to become a mini town park, complete with park benches, flowers and trees!
Are you liking this fresher, updated main street?
We hope so. We would like to give a shout out to the Telluride Foundation for a $3000 grant that was awarded the Norwood Chamber of Commerce to build the beautiful rustic planters you see below.
Sponsor a Planter
Did you know any individual or business can sponsor a planter? The money from your sponsorship goes to help keep the planters full of beautiful blooming flowers each year as well as fund other future beautification projects. Plaques are $50 for design and fabrication and are charged annually on $100 per foot basis. Each sign can be one, two or three feet long.
Email firstname.lastname@example.org for info on getting a plaque on a planter.
